DRIVER OF THE MONTH
The driver of the month for May is Jerry Hubbard. Jerry is very safe in everything he does. He has been going above and beyond his normal duties lately and has been helping do many road tests and training new drivers. He is very safe and always does a great job. Congratulations Jerry Hubbard
QUARTERLY SAFETY MEETING
The 2nd quarter safety meeting will be held in the Apex shop on Saturday June 26th at 8:00 AM. This meeting is mandatory for all employees. We will have a Colorado State Patrol Officer here to do a load securement presentation. Rick Jenkins from Flood and Peterson will be here to talk about Road Fit 365. We will also review CSA 2010 and the new DOT physical requirements. After the meeting will be a BBQ and then we will have a fork lift certification class. If you would like to join the forklift certification class please let Megan know. If you use the fork lift at all you need to sign up to be certified or come in and show Megan your current certification.
SAFETY TIPS
Doing a proper and thorough pre-trip of your vehicle can save you trouble down the road and help ensure a safe trip.
Before you get in your vehicle walk completely around it checking all lights, tires, and under the hood. Your pre-trip inspection is your best guarantee that your trip won’t be interrupted by an unforeseen breakdown! |
